The coronavirus affected the football world over the past year and a half. Stadiums remained empty, sponsors dropped out and the merchandising of many clubs declined. This had a significant effect on the transfer market. Many clubs had less budget to spend and that resulted into fewer transfers and more loans.
The transfer market has changed, and many clubs are still recovering from the corona crisis. Still, we can say that the last transfer window (summer 2021) showed great signs of a return to business as usual. Several markets returned to previous levels; others recovered more slowly.
The last transfer window was a success for PANNA Sports Agency. We realized five deals whereby we offered both players and clubs qualitative solutions. As you know, at PANNA we always prefer quality over quantity and our aim is to always maximize the player’s potential.
Already in July we acted as an intermediary in the transfer of Erick Ramirez from DAC 1904 to the current Ukrainian champions Dinamo Kiev. A great step for the player to develop his career and to prove himself in the Champions League. Also, for DAC 1904 this transfer was a nice culmination of their successful transfer policy.
Next, we found a solution for Massimo Decoene, who will continue his career at KV Kortrijk. We are convinced that he can develop his potential in this club.
The last weeks of the transfer window were hectic and PANNA Sports Agency realized three other deals. Belgian winger Thibaud Verlinden from Fortuna Sittard to DAC 1904, left full back Alexandros Katranis from Saint-Etienne to the Polish top club Piast Gliwice and Didier Lamkel Zé on loan from R. Antwerp FC to DAC 1904.
This last deal was a win-win situation for all parties involved. The player gets the chance to give his career a new impulse, Antwerp finds a solution to develop their talent/asset and DAC 1904 can use him in the fight for the championship in Slovakia.
As you can see, at PANNA Sports Agency we are always looking for the best solutions for player and club, something we have certainly succeeded in over the past transfer period.
